The study aimed to identify the educational communication skills practiced by university professors from the perspective of students at the Faculty of Arts, Misurata University, and to examine the variation in the degree of skill application across different departments within the faculty. The researchers adopted a descriptive approach. The study population consisted of 2,447 students, from which a sample of 65 students was selected. A 68-item questionnaire covering nine areas was constructed and validated through expert review. Statistical tools such as weighted mean, percentage weights, and frequencies were used in the analysis. The results showed that professors applied 57 communication skills to varying degrees, indicating a generally good level of communication practice. Eleven skills were found to be practiced at a lower level. Furthermore, the study revealed differences in the extent to which communication skills were applied across departments, with rates ranging between 56% and 87%, which are considered generally favorable.
