The Standardization of Eysenck's Personality Questionnaire (Revised) on a Libyan Sample from Misrata

The present study aims to standardize the revised version of the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) on a Libyan sample of 784 high school and university students from the city of Misrata. The study examines the psychometric properties of the scale by assessing its construct validity, internal consistency, and reliability. The findings indicate strong evidence of validity and reliability. The study also provides performance norms for the sample across the four EPQ dimensions, along with standard error values. Furthermore, it offers local percentile and T-score norms adjusted for gender and age on the Neuroticism and Extraversion scales, and for gender on the Psychoticism scale. These results support the EPQ's appropriateness for use within the Libyan context.
