Electronic information sources represent a key modern trend in information management, significantly enhancing scientific research, especially in regions with limited academic infrastructure such as the Arab world. These sources have made access to information faster and easier compared to traditional methods. Their reliability and academic credibility have become particularly evident with the emergence of the Open Access principle, which marked a turning point in scholarly publishing. Unrestricted electronic publishing of peer-reviewed works is now a defining characteristic of the information age, as open access cannot be achieved without a robust electronic publishing environment, in which electronic sources form the foundation.
