This research aims to demonstrate the central hypothesis that most interpretations of Aristotle’s philosophy have failed to clearly distinguish between his scientific contributions and his philosophical thought. The study focuses on his foundation of natural philosophy, along with his pivotal role in developing logic and outlining the principles of literary criticism. Through an analysis of his methodology in natural science, the sources he relied upon, and the biological theories he proposed, the paper reveals the deep interconnection between Aristotle’s scientific and philosophical visions, highlighting the originality and coherence of his intellectual project.
