of the clinical psychologist as an integral member of the therapeutic team for chronic diseases in the city of Misurata. The importance of the study lies in the overlapping tasks between clinical psychologists and medical doctors, which can lead to misunderstandings and diminished treatment effectiveness, as well as psychological strain on the clinical psychologist. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach and investigates two main questions: the extent of physicians’ awareness of the psychologist’s role, and whether statistically significant differences exist based on the physician’s gender or years of experience.
