This study aimed to explore the socio-psychological effects of smartphone use among youth, and to assess statistical differences based on variables such as age, gender, occupation, and marital status. The study followed a descriptive-analytical approach using a survey method and included a sample of 200 participants. Data were collected through a questionnaire that included personal information and two main axes, as well as a scale comprising 25 items distributed across six dimensions: family disintegration, social isolation, virtual social relationships, depression, anxiety, and optimism. Results indicated that smartphone use significantly impacts the socio-psychological life of youth, with statistically significant differences linked to occupation and marital status.
