during the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, highlighting its critical role in preserving the intended meaning and aligning with proper exegesis. The paper demonstrates how improper pauses may distort meanings and references the deep-rooted Arab oral tradition that emphasized proper pausing. A prophetic narration is cited to show the danger of pausing at inappropriate places, which can mislead the listener. The research emphasizes the reciter’s responsibility to adhere to correct pausing and resuming in line with linguistic and interpretive principles, thereby ensuring accurate and clear conveyance of the Qur’anic message.
