This linguistic study examines the phenomenon of augmentation (takthīr) in the Arabic language through an inductive approach based on grammatical, morphological, and lexical sources. The researcher sought to collect and categorize the dispersed forms and expressions that convey augmentation and intensification in Arabic, despite the considerable effort and time such a task demands. The study highlights the richness and diversity of Arabic in terms of its vocabulary and morphological patterns, while also fulfilling one of the classical objectives of Arabic authorship: the compilation of scattered material. Furthermore, it draws upon foundational sources in Arabic grammar and lexicography, lending scholarly value and authenticity to the research.
