Introduction
The Faculty of Arts Journal – University of Misurata places great importance on peer review as a cornerstone of academic publishing quality. Accordingly, the journal adopts a clear and structured policy to recruit qualified reviewers in the humanities and social sciences to ensure high standards of scholarly evaluation.
Policy Objectives
This policy aims to:
- Invite qualified researchers to join the journal’s reviewer team.
- Define the eligibility criteria for becoming an accredited reviewer.
- Outline recognition and incentive mechanisms.
- Promote academic community involvement in supporting quality publishing.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a PhD or equivalent qualification OR possess sufficient academic and research experience, along with a record of peer-reviewed publications in their field.
- Have sound knowledge of scholarly reviewing methodologies.
- Commit to ethical standards and strict confidentiality in peer review.
- Adhere to the journal’s approved peer review policy.
- Accept to review manuscripts within their field of expertise and availability.
