The Faculty of Arts Journal adopts the Gold Open Access model, ensuring that all published articles are freely and immediately available on the journal's website without legal or financial restrictions. The University of Misurata, as the publisher, covers all Article Processing Charges, allowing both authors and readers to benefit from open access at no cost.
Open access means unrestricted online access to academic content, allowing anyone to read, download, copy, distribute, and reuse articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing:
- Free reading, downloading, and sharing.
- Adaptation and reuse for any purpose, including commercial use.
- Provided proper credit is given to the original authors and source.
Types of Open Access:
- Gold Open Access: Immediate and free publication on the journal’s platform, funded by the publisher.
- Green Open Access: Archiving a manuscript in a repository (not adopted by this journal).
- Hybrid Open Access: Optional open access in subscription journals (not applicable here).
