Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools in Scientific Research

  1. Introduction

With the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and the emergence of tools that assist in writing, editing, and data analysis, the Faculty of Arts Journal is committed to outlining ethical and scientific standards for the use of such tools to ensure academic integrity and the quality of published scientific content.

This policy has been developed based on internationally recognized best practices adopted by leading academic publishers such as Elsevier, Springer Nature, and Wiley, and in accordance with the requirements of global indexing databases like Scopus and Web of Science.

  2. AI tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors of any scientific work.
  3. Authors must disclose the use of any AI tools involved in writing or editing the manuscript, in a separate section titled: 'Disclosure of AI Tool Use', placed before the reference list.
  4. Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy and reliability of any content generated with the assistance of AI tools.
