Editorial Policy

This policy outlines the principles and procedures that govern the editorial and publication process at the Faculty of Arts Journal, ensuring the academic quality of published content, editorial transparency, and adherence to ethical and scholarly standards.

1. Scope and General Editorial Process

• All submitted materials are subject to an initial assessment by the Editorial Board to determine their relevance to the journal’s aims, academic scope, and submission requirements.
• The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject or request revisions to any submission that does not meet the journal’s quality standards.

2. Role of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board

• The Editor-in-Chief holds final responsibility for the acceptance of submissions for publication.
• The Editorial Board works in collaboration with peer reviewers to ensure a fair and double-blind peer review process, in line with the journal's Peer Review Policy.
• The Editorial Board is committed to impartiality and objectivity, with no discrimination based on institutional affiliation, gender, nationality, or other factors.

3. Editorial Independence

The Editorial Board exercises full editorial independence in evaluating submitted manuscripts and making publication decisions. Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific quality, originality, relevance, scholarly merit, and ethical integrity of the submitted work, without influence from the authors' institutional affiliation, nationality, gender, political views, funding sources, or other non-academic considerations.

4. Submission Acceptance Criteria

• Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal.
• Articles must adhere to the journal’s methodological and linguistic standards.
• Submissions must comply with other relevant policies such as the Plagiarism Policy, Similarity Check Policy, and the Ethics and Research Integrity Policy.

5. Revisions and Improvements

• Authors may be requested to revise their submissions based on reviewer or editorial feedback prior to final acceptance.
• In case of rejection, authors will be informed of the objective reasons for the decision.

6. Handling Complaints and Violations

• Complaints related to the editorial or review process are handled with full confidentiality and in accordance with the journal’s Ethics and Research Integrity Policy and Plagiarism Policy.

7. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The journal follows its AI Policy, which defines the acceptable, restricted, and prohibited uses of artificial intelligence tools throughout the research, writing, submission, and publication processes. Authors are expected to comply fully with this policy.
